the lady was super sweet! she was very helpful with everything (even packing the takeaway, making sure the pasta will stay good!). the food was amazing, big portions and very tasty, and the tiramisu is homemade. the restaurant is in a small street but worth the visit! I highly recommend this place!

I was born in Bari, and I’m telling you, this place is a must, the food is fresh and home made. The host, Enza is simply amazing, she’s really sweet and takes pride in the fresh produce they offer. The Impepata di Cozze and the Home made Orecchiette with Cime di rapa are a MUST! Thank me later!

This is a small family restaurant. We loved everything!!!! Service was perfect, dishes were delicious!!! Spaghetti with octopus is my love!!!. We were in this restaurant 2 times and I'm sure, next time, when I am in Bari, I will visit Al Fortino!!!! I definitely recommend visiting this restaurant!!!

perfect location in the old town aera, not to crowded, quite but lively. Really delicious food, the spaghetti assassina is lovely caramelised and the clams fresh!

We had dinner there and the staff was very friendly and kind. We ate mussels (cozze) as starter, and then risotto with fungi and fried calamari. The food was served pretty fast and the size of the portions were really big. Also, the lemon sorbet was very good and creamy. The atmosphere is more like a cozy one as the restaurant is on a side street with not so much people walking by.

The restaurant is very inconspicuous. The food thou is to die for! From the appetizers that give you, through the main dishes and the deserts, Everything was great! The quality price ratio is unbelievable. Absolutely will recommend to anyone who likes good food.

Good food, nice location and a big plus for the staff who speak English and can explain what each of the menu items is and what the ingredients are. They also removed one of the ingredients from the meal on our request with no problem whatsoever so big plus for that. Would absolutely recommend.

It was my husband’s birthday, and since he doesn’t like cake, they surprised him with a cheese plate topped with a birthday candle—such a thoughtful touch! Amazing little family restaurant in the old city centre of Bari. All the four of us had different pizzas and each of them were delicious. We had their tiramisu, which was the best one I’ve eaten in Italy.

The food was superb and plentiful. The service was great and nothing was too much trouble.
The Focaccia was light and full of lovely tomato flavours. The Spaghetti Bolognaise was recommended and it didn’t not disappoint- definitely worth trying!
To round off and not one for coffee I did try the Tiramisu and was delighted I did. So light and not overpowering.

Rissoto fungi espectacular !!! La atención perfecta nos vendieron todo y no nos mintieron ... los chicos pidieron pasta Carbonara once puntos y con pulpo también arriba de diez ... obvio vino tinto de la casa y de postre tiramisú ... llegamos a Italia y nos recibió como debía ser !!!
